Silent Dawn

Canyon Lands Utah 2012, I drove out from my hotel in Moab Utah to Canyon Lands National Park at 4:30 am knowing that the sunrise at the Mesa Arch attracts thousands of photographers a year and I wanted to get setup in a great spot. I waited it out and as the sun cleared the mountains the arch began to glow this beautiful red color a reflection from the canyon floor 1600 feet below. I waited for just the right moment and then snapped the shutter on my camera and my latest image “Silent Dawn” was born.
